About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Maths and Science Educator to join our team at Good Shepherd Catholic College, Mount Isa. This is a full-time, permanent position commencing in January 2025. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Maths and Science to students in Years 7-12
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve quality teaching and learning outcomes
Requirements
- Appropriate tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers
- Current Driver's Licence
- Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner
