About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Insights Manager to join our team at Qantas Loyalty. As a key member of our data and analytics capability, you will be responsible for developing high-impact customer insights related to customer behaviors across and within our loyalty partners and businesses.

Using complex data analytics and modeling, you will identify opportunities to increase customer engagement and profitability via improvements to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program. You will work closely with senior Qantas Loyalty management and the Senior Manager of Strategic Insights to form recommendations on key strategic issues relating to the Qantas Hotels & Holidays businesses and other group-wide initiatives that impact Qantas Frequent Flyer members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data-driven insights and recommendations to drive business growth and customer engagement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business opportunities and initiatives
  • Design and implement data analytics and modeling solutions to support business decision-making
  • Communicate complex insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  • Manage and prioritize multiple competing tasks and projects for different stakeholders
Requirements
  • Degree-level qualifications in a relevant field, such as applied statistics or a related analytical field
  • Proven experience in turning raw data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to overlay commercial acumen to developed insights and recommendations
  • Extensive experience in extracting and manipulating large volumes of data with SQL, with direct experience with the Teradata platform preferred
  • High level of computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Prior experience in using Tableau desired
