Service Technician Position Overview

Exciting Opportunities for Service Technicians (Electrical and Mechanical)

We are seeking dedicated individuals for permanent full-time roles based in Moorebank, Western Sydney. The Service Technician will be integral to the maintenance and enhancement of our advanced Automated Material Handling System.

Role Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance and operational tasks as assigned.
  • Respond to reactive service calls to ensure optimal productivity and asset availability.
  • Support project teams during commissioning and integration phases.
  • Engage in tasks involving electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
Key Duties
  • Address service requests promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and system performance.
  • Continuously seek improvements in processes and performance.
  • Anticipate potential issues and resolve them proactively.
  • Uphold high standards of quality and efficiency in all tasks.
  • Foster teamwork to achieve optimal results.
  • Review work regularly and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Celebrate improvements and successes within the team.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenance activities.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Diploma or certificate in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
  • A Grade Electrical License is required for Electrical Service Technicians.
  • Ability to serve as a technical contact during incidents.
  • Familiarity with Industrial Network solutions and PLC control systems is preferred.
  • Experience with automated materials handling systems is advantageous.
  • Methodical approach to workflows is essential.
  • Flexibility towards shift work is necessary.
  • Experience with Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) is a plus.
