About the Role

Leidos is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, providing technical support, and ensuring that all maintenance activities are completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repair activities on delivered systems, including preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to end-users, including fault-finding and conducting investigations into customer-reported system defects.
  • Coordination and Planning: Coordinate and plan maintenance activities with internal and external stakeholders, including scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Ensure that all maintenance activities are accurately reflected in the CoA systems and that all required documentation is completed.
  • Inventory Management: Support inventory management, including inventory movement and accounting of Leidos assets and CMCA.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Certificate III or higher in a relevant field or student with studies underway in a related area.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience working on electrical/mechanical systems and use of hand tools, including practical experience in vehicle mechanical work, technical field service work, appliance servicing, electrical/electronic trades, or IT service.
  • Skills: PC skills, including managing software installation and auditing, as well as ability to manage firmware upgrades.
