Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of efficient and effective Airfield Operations/Capital Project interfaces from design to delivery and go-live, enhancing the customer and operator experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring appropriate stakeholder engagement and sign-offs, meeting cost-effective operational requirements with cost-effective solutions.
  • Developing and delivering business improvements across Aviation Operations, including processes, systems, people, and infrastructure projects from inception to delivery and go-live.
  • Managing the consistent delivery of Operations projects, considering customer impact, regulatory requirements, readiness, cost, and compliance across Operational scope.
  • Ensuring compliance and risk mitigation, with mitigation through design, construction, and delivery.
  • Developing and implementing construction projects, process, and operational improvement initiatives, supported by appropriate policy and procedures.
  • Fully understanding the role in relation to the Airport Emergency Plan (AEP) and Crisis Management Plan (CMP), ensuring training is up to date and capable of enacting responsibilities when required.
Requirements:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Aviation background with reasonable Airfield Operations knowledge.
  • Project Management experience.
  • An empathic and considerate approach, with commercial acumen.
  • Strong learning agility and emotional intelligence.
  • Decisive with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Open to giving and receiving feedback.
  • Ability to influence in a high-pressure environment.
