Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to provide expert-level servicing, maintenance, and sales support for fire hose reels, fire extinguishers, and related products.

Candidates will be required to possess industry accreditation and have previous experience in the fire protection sector.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Servicing portable fire equipment on customer premises and recommending relevant portable fire protection systems and safety equipment to meet Australian Standards.
  • Auditing client locations, quoting, and selling a comprehensive range of portable fire protection systems, equipment, and services that meet or exceed specific requirements.
  • Identifying, repairing, and installing portable fire protection systems and equipment in accordance with Australian Standards.
  • Completing and providing evidence of maintenance performed on equipment using electronic records and industry-specific documentation.
  • Understanding and exceeding financial and tolerance-related targets and Key Performance Indicators.

The ideal candidate will represent the company to the highest standards while capitalizing on product sales opportunities during service work.

Requirements
  • Professional experience or qualifications as specified by local classification structures.
  • Sound knowledge of applicable Australian Standards relevant to portable service fire protection equipment.
  • Current QBCC License for Fire - Portables Class/Stream for Install and maintenance of Portable Equipment is mandatory.
