Job Overview

The role of Cloud Architecture Specialist involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions.

This includes developing infrastructure as code using tools like AWS CloudFormation or CDK to automate resource provisioning, as well as reviewing and enforcing practices for infrastructure development.

  • Develop and standardize the usage of automation to provision and manage cloud resources and environments within the Digital (CMS) and API Platforms.
  • Review our current CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and updates to AWS resources, and define best practices in our CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects to design and architect cloud solutions that meet scalability, reliability, and security requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues related to AWS infrastructure, networking, and applications.
  • Implement proactive monitoring and alerting systems to detect anomalies, performance degradation, and potential failures.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud architecture for scalable and secure platforms.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and updates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful cloud initiatives.
  • Own the BCP and DR capabilities within the AWS domain.
  • Document all changes made to the CI/CD pipeline.
Requirements
  • Expertise in cloud computing, DevOps, and AWS technologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and practices.
