Parking Enforcement Officer

We are seeking a skilled Parking Enforcement Officer to undertake various duties across our municipality. The successful applicant will be responsible for conducting regular patrols, ensuring parking enforcement complaints are investigated and responded to in a timely manner, and providing advice to staff and members of the public.

  • Conduct routine and regular patrols throughout the municipality outside of normal business hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Investigate and respond to all parking enforcement complaints within established guidelines and timelines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by offering expert advice on matters related to parking enforcement.

This is a part-time role working 15 hours per week, with one evening shift and Saturday and Sunday.

About You

  • You will have a broad understanding of parking enforcement procedures, legislation, regulations, and local laws.
  • Strong administrative skills, preferably with experience using handheld devices like PinForce.
  • A strong work ethic, ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills.

This position is currently remunerated at $36.89 per hour, plus superannuation. Overtime will also be paid as required.
