A leading provider of Christian Education, Australian Christian College (ACC) seeks to appoint a part-time Secondary Teacher to join our team in Hobart.
We are committed to developing students spiritually, academically, socially and physically, equipping them to flourish in all aspects of life. Our dedicated staff work together to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that fosters growth and development.
The successful candidate will have the capacity to:
- Lead the Christian formation of students, instilling values and principles that guide their lives;
- Deliver Pastoral Care from a genuine Christian faith, supporting students' emotional and spiritual well-being;
- Contribute to an inclusive approach to learning, promoting cross-cultural understanding and respect;
- Develop education programs that are biblically grounded, Christ-focused, culturally engaging and academically rigorous;
- Teach the prescribed curriculum in a conducive learning environment, fostering students' interests, skills and abilities;
- Participate in staff meetings, extra-curricular activities and liaise with parents as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant bachelor degree and teaching qualifications (e.g. Masters of Education);
- Experience in Design & Technology and/or Outdoor Education and/or Humanities (desirable);
- Passion for impacting students' minds and hearts, providing a safe and supportive learning environment;
- Strong relational skills and commitment to holistic student welfare;
- Keenness to collaborate with colleagues in developing and implementing teaching programs;
- A servant heart and vibrant Christian faith.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
