The Role
We are seeking a part-time Secondary Teacher (0.8FTE) to join our team at ACC Hobart. The successful candidate will have the capacity to lead the Christian formation of students, deliver Pastoral Care from a genuine Christian faith, and contribute to an inclusive approach to learning. Key responsibilities include teaching the prescribed curriculum, contributing to staff meetings and extra-curricular activities, and liaising with parents as needed.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A relevant bachelor degree and any other relevant teaching qualifications;
- Experience in Design & Technology and/or Outdoor Education and/or Humanities (desired);
- A passion for impacting students' minds and hearts, providing a safe and supportive learning environment;
- Strong relational skills and a commitment to holistic teaching and student welfare;
- A willingness to collaborate with colleagues in developing and implementing teaching programs;
- A servant heart and vibrant Christian faith.
