Supply Chain Team Overview

Candidate Profile

We are in search of a collaborative individual with a passion for inventory management and a robust analytical mindset.

The Senior Supply and Inventory Planner will focus on achieving and sustaining optimal inventory levels that empower Nike Pacific to meet revenue and margin objectives aligned with our financial strategies, market goals, and network investments. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure inventory health while addressing risks and opportunities, balancing short- and long-term objectives, and influencing key stakeholders through compelling storytelling derived from insightful analysis and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will lead initiatives on inventory optimization to enhance financial revenue, margin, and profitability, considering multiple nodes across all business channels and product lines.

Working alongside an experienced team, you will ensure precision in the monthly inventory forecast, encompassing all inputs and outputs to provide optimal visibility across short, medium, and long-term planning horizons.

Your daily activities will involve engaging with cross-functional partners to promote healthy end-to-end inventory through collaboration, presentation, and influencing skills. You will focus on achieving metrics such as targeted End to End Weeks of Supply, Close Out %, and Unallocated %. Evaluating financial, operational, and consumer trade-offs will be essential to making informed decisions.

Collaboration and Reporting

You will report to the Inventory Operations Director and collaborate with teams such as Nike Direct, Marketplace Partners, Enterprise Business Planning/Performance Operations, Logistics, Finance, Marketplace Operations, and Supply and Inventory partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with over 3 years of professional experience in related fields such as inventory management, supply chain, operations, supply planning, or finance.
  • Ability to comprehend retail KPIs and utilize data and analytics to pinpoint critical information regarding inventory drivers and root causes.
  • Proven success in influencing others, leading change, and achieving business outcomes through effective storytelling to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong relationship-building skills are essential.
  • Detail-oriented with the capability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and possess strong problem-solving skills to address complex issues.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple time zones as needed.
  • Proficient in Excel; familiarity with Think-Cell, TM1 applications, Cognos BI tool, Cognos Planning Analytics, SAP, Tableau, and O9 is desirable.
