Vehicle Body Builder Job Opportunity

We are seeking skilled professionals to join our team as Vehicle Body Builders in a Specialised Projects Division at our Carrington site.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the workshop floor and assist colleagues with tasks
  • Operate machinery and power tools efficiently
  • Clean, prepare and maintain tools and work area effectively
  • Perform basic tasks independently following established process guidelines
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Read and interpret technical drawings accurately
  • Work with various materials such as steel, aluminum, fiberglass etc.
  • Maintain adherence to workplace health and safety guidelines

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Trade qualification in vehicle body building or related field
  • Experience in vehicle body building or associated fabrication trade
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, follow instructions and procedures
  • Skilled in assembling vehicles and conducting repairs
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • Achieve high quality of workmanship and attention to detail
  • Physically capable of performing repetitive tasks including lifting, bending and twisting
  • Pass a pre-placement medical test including D&A testing
