Job Description

The Client Wellbeing Officer plays a vital role in promoting the resilience and wellbeing of clients, their families, or carers across our organization through spiritual and emotional support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide pastoral care and respond to the needs of people accessing our services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote the role throughout our organization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver workshops on 'end of life' concerns.
  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of best practice through networking and professional development.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualification in theology or pastoral care, or equivalent experience providing spiritual care.
  • Demonstrated ability to work sensitively with people from diverse faith and cultural backgrounds.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.
  • Current NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate or willingness to obtain.
  • Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
  • Full vaccination against COVID-19, meeting the requirements of our Covid-19 Vaccination Policy.
