Your New Role Looks Like This:

As a Technology and Security Auditor, you'll dive into independent audits that enhance risk management, improve processes, and strengthen controls across cutting-edge technology and security systems. You'll work both solo and as part of a high-energy team, expanding your scope to business operations, crafting solutions that drive genuine improvements and make a difference.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Risk & Control Mastery: Conduct thorough reviews of critical processes, identifying and assessing risks and controls in line with AU GA methodology. Create innovative audit programs and bring your expertise in IT risk, control, and security to every assignment.Ensure Compliance & Excellence: Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and legislation, elevating standards in everything you review.Drive Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of tech trends and apply your deep knowledge to enhance audits, delivering insights that benefit the entire organization.Impactful Reporting: Share findings with Line and Senior Managers through dynamic reports that highlight key issues, root causes, and actionable solutions.Problem Solving & Recommendations: Go beyond auditing by evaluating management's action plans and offering powerful, value-added recommendations.Complete Projects on Time: Deliver high-quality audits within agreed timelines and budgets, showcasing your commitment to efficiency.Engage & Influence: Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders, working collaboratively to make audits a positive experience and add lasting value.

About You:

  • Ideally 5-8 years of internal auditing experience
  • Eligibility in professional accreditation bodies (e.g., ISACA, ISC2, IIA) and a commitment to continuing professional development
  • Tech-savvy and appreciation of IT risks in a computer-driven economy and rapid technology changes in areas of IT security and access, and general application controls. An appreciation and understanding of data analytics / mining would be beneficial
  • Well-developed and effective communication skills including a high standard of business report writing
  • Understanding and application of financial principles and grasp of business concepts
  • Ability to work autonomously and within defined methodologies and timeframes
  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Visio. TeamMate advantageous.
