**Job Opportunity in a State-of-the-Art Hatchery**

We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team at our modern hatchery in Australia.

No previous experience is required, as extensive training will be provided. We offer permanent full-time positions with competitive hourly rates.

The successful candidate will work 38 hours per week over four days, with three days off, including one weekend day. Paid time off on your birthday is also included.

Free tea, coffee, milk, and fresh fruit will be provided, along with free onsite parking in a secure carpark.

Our commitment to employee health and safety is paramount, with uniforms and relevant safety equipment provided.

Applicants must have full work rights in Australia, as we cannot accept students or working holiday visa holders.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals to work in a dynamic environment. The hatchery operates 7 days a week, but you will typically work a minimum of 38 hours per week over four days with early starts.

Your own reliable transportation is essential, and you must be flexible regarding changing work times and overtime.

Bio-security and animal welfare standards are extremely strict in the poultry industry, so employees are restricted from keeping pet birds, poultry, or pigs, and residing with others who work in the poultry or pig farming/hunting industries.

The hatchery is a shower-in, shower-out facility.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Must meet bio-security requirements
  • Be physically fit and able to work on feet all day
  • Have a positive attitude and be team-oriented
  • Tolerance to working with poultry in a dusty and noisy environment
  • Ability to work safely and willingness to follow procedures
  • Good communication skills with a clear understanding of English, both written and oral
  • Previous experience in factory, production, or farming is an advantage, but not necessary
