Job Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Deli Food Prep Specialist. As a Deli Food Prep Specialist, you will play a vital part in preparing and presenting food products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food items such as platters, pizzas, sushi, salads, raw meats, and other deli offerings according to established guidelines
  • Cook meat, poultry, vegetables, and seafood as per standard operating procedures
  • Skim and load chicken into rotisseries
  • Pack, label, and display cooked chicken in hot holding cabinets
  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers, employees, and vendors
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment throughout the day by adhering to sanitation standard operating procedures (SSOP)

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, food safety regulations, and department-specific requirements
  • Participate in training and safety programs required by the Warehouse, Service Deli, and Rotisserie departments
  • Restock and rotate supplies in coolers and freezers
  • Remove trash from departments and work areas
  • Operate equipment such as trash compactors and cardboard balers
  • Collaborate with other departments as needed
