Maintenance Officer Job Opportunity

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer for our facilities on a Full-time basis. As a Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and repair of our facilities, equipment, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring the maintenance and repair of facilities, equipment, and grounds
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks and responding to emergency repairs
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth facility operations
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Trade qualification (desirable but not essential)
  • Drivers Licence and access to a motor vehicle
  • Knowledge of maintenance procedures and repairs
  • Hands-on understanding of property maintenance work and procedures
  • Flexible and innovative approach to problem-solving with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Well-presented with a helping, positive, empathetic, and patient attitude
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and Occupational Health & Safety Principles
  • Self-starter with the ability to work both alone and as part of a team
  • Compassionate, dedicated, and caring nature with the ability to build strong rapport with consumers
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and have received this year's influenza vaccination
