UX Design Leadership Role

We are seeking a seasoned UX Designer to lead our design efforts in Australia. As a key member of our global User Experience Design team, you will be responsible for designing user-centered solutions tailored to the needs of Australian clients and their customers.

  • You will play a vital role in driving alignment and innovation across local and global teams through workshops and design sprints.
  • Using qualitative and quantitative data, you will inform and defend design decisions, conducting user research interview sessions with retailer client users in the APAC region.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to improve design processes and standards, mentoring junior designers and peers on UX methods and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing user-centered solutions for complex organisational challenges using service design methods such as journey maps, design sprints, and co-creation workshops.
  • Leading workshops and design sprints to drive alignment and innovation across local and global teams.
  • Using qualitative and quantitative data to inform and defend design decisions, conducting user research interview sessions with retailer client users in the APAC region.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional partners to improve design processes and standards, and mentoring junior designers and peers on UX methods and best practices.
Requirements:
  • A seasoned designer with a track record of solving complex problems and delivering impactful design solutions.
  • Highly collaborative and adaptable, able to work effectively in a fast-paced global business environment.
  • Proficient in using qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions, and committed to improving design processes and standards.
  • Able to proactively identify design opportunities and research needs within a product area, and prioritize work for maximum impact.
