Job Title: Outback Hospitality Manager

This remote management role offers a unique opportunity to oversee daily operations of a roadhouse in the South Australian outback.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in managing staff, stocks, and cash handling. They should also be comfortable with adapting to isolated conditions and have excellent communication skills.

A competitive salary package includes accommodation, meals, and a generous annual leave allowance.

The role requires strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Previous experience working in remote areas is highly desirable.

  • Assist site managers with day-to-day tasks, including bar, fuel, housekeeping, restaurant, and grounds management
  • Oversee stock control, merchandising, takes, pricing, and shelving
  • Manage cash handling, tills, floats, safe counts, banking processes
  • General administration and invoice processing
  • Monitor fuel levels, dips, ordering, safety procedures, and supervise staff
  • Maintain liquor licensing regulations, manage on manager's days off, and during periods of annual leave
  • Must have previous remote area experience, roadhouse or similar background, SA Liquor Badge, RSA, National Police Check, and commit to at least 12 months
