
Compassionate Leader for Pastoral Care

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled individual to provide spiritual care, leadership, and support to our clients, their families, and team members.
The successful candidate will have strong understanding and experience of people living at home with life-limiting illness, including dementia, and the impact on carers. They will also possess a strong personal and active Christian faith and church involvement.
The role requires assessing client/family's spiritual and emotional needs, developing a spiritual care plan, providing prayerful support to team members, and training them in areas related to pastoral care.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, experience raising up, leading, and supporting a team, and access to a car.

Responsibilities:
- Assess client/family's spiritual and emotional needs and develop a spiritual care plan
- Provide spiritual and emotional support to clients and their families
- Liaise with relevant religious/spiritual leaders to coordinate provision of spiritual support
- Train team members in areas related to pastoral care
- Participate in opportunities to provide information about pastoral care opportunities and create partnerships
About You:
- Commitment to engage and align with our Christian Mission, Motivation, and Mission in Action
- Strong understanding and experience of people living at home with life-limiting illness
- Strong personal and active Christian faith and church involvement
- Theological/Pastoral Care qualifications and experience
