Leadership Opportunity: Deputy Head of Preparatory School

This is an exceptional opportunity to join the college's academic leadership team as the Deputy Head of Preparatory School – Teaching and Learning.

The key responsibilities include leading and coaching Pedagogical Leaders and Preparatory Teachers to deliver best-practice teaching aligned with the science of learning, driving curriculum innovation and review cycles, overseeing assessment and reporting practices, modelling exemplary pedagogy, coordinating professional learning, and building strong relationships with staff, students, and families.

We seek a leader who is empathetic and inspiring, with a proven ability to build trust and lead teams with positivity and clarity. A Pedagogical expert with deep knowledge of the science of learning and curriculum design for primary aged students, strategically minded with experience in driving school-wide initiatives and continuous improvement, data-savvy with the ability to analyse student progress and guide responsive teaching, and a strong communicator able to engage effectively with staff, students, and families.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Pedagogical expertise with deep knowledge of the science of learning and curriculum design for primary aged students.
  • Strategic mindset with experience in driving school-wide initiatives and continuous improvement.
  • Data analysis skills with the ability to analyse student progress and guide responsive teaching.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
