As a key team member, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Turf Management Specialist to play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the course's presentation and playability.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess strong operational skills, be passionate about turf management, and have a hands-on approach to team development and daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in scheduling, supervising, and leading daily maintenance operations and project work
  • Manage Poa/ Bent grass greens with a focus on moisture control and disease management
  • Train and induct staff at all levels
  • Assist in agronomic planning, irrigation scheduling/maintenance, and product applications
  • Lead and participate in construction and renovation projects
  • Perform maintenance of all turf areas including greens, tees, surrounds, fairways, roughs, and bunkers
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Sports Turf Management (essential); Certificate IV or Diploma (highly regarded/preferred)
  • Experience in a similar role within the golf industry
  • Proven leadership and excellent communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Poa/ Bent grass management
