GEHO Support Engineer Role Overview

Weir Minerals is a global leader in the design, manufacturing and supply of equipment for the mining and minerals processing industries. As a GEHO Support Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and maximising relationships with our customers in WA sites and head offices in Perth City.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Assist in preventing competitors from establishing a long-term presence in GEHO's core business at the specified sites.
  • Initiate, manage and maintain service agreements with GEHO customers, working closely with the End User Sales Division to implement service agreements in the Australian market.
  • Provide up-to-date technical information to clients and ensure they are aware of our technical advancements.
  • Follow up on customer requests and complaints until full resolution.
  • Offer technical recommendations and support to customers backed by our WMNL-based Aftermarket Team.
  • Identify and promote new business opportunities to profitably grow the business in the Area.
  • Report, document, budget and forecast performance, preparing Quarterly Reports that measure progress against objectives and highlight significant market issues.

Requirements:

  • Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read, analyse and interpret general business periodicals.
  • Sound organisational, people and time management skills.
  • Ability to travel to site when required.
  • Experience using SAP is highly desirable.
  • A committed and proactive attitude towards Environment, Health and Safety.
