We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Business Development Lead to drive conference and event sales, build lasting client relationships, and deliver exceptional experiences.
This role is perfect for results-driven sales professionals who thrive on networking, strategic planning, and hands-on event coordination.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for growing our conference and events business by identifying new opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and ensuring seamless execution of events.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing strategic sales plans for conferences, meetings, and events.
- Sourcing new business through cold calling, networking, and industry events.
- Conducting site inspections and familiarization tours to showcase our facilities.
- Negotiating contracts, preparing tailored proposals, and closing deals.
- Collaborating with internal teams to deliver outstanding client experiences from planning to execution.
- Maintaining market knowledge and competitor intelligence to stay competitive.
Requirements include:
- A proven track record in business development or sales, preferably in hospitality, MICE, or events.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
