Key Role: Manufacturing Engineering Manager

The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, strategic direction and expertise to drive the development and implementation of high-quality manufacturing digital systems and software solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments for health, safety and environmental (HSE) concerns, product safety and manufacturing quality to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OH&S) standards and Australian regulations.
  • Provide guidance on manufacturing execution systems and supporting technologies to facilitate efficient data transfer from design to operational environments.
  • Lead and mentor production engineering teams to enhance technical capability, foster junior staff growth and development.
  • Represent operations and manufacturing engineering in key business forums, reviewing and contributing to digital system and data integration strategies.
  • Drive root cause analysis, process improvements and resolution of manufacturing issues to optimize efficiency and quality.
  • Support operations teams through rapid development of data-driven solutions and software tools.
  • Establish strong relationships with stakeholders and teams to deliver fully deployed solutions.
  • Ensure accurate capture of in-production modifications in change management systems.
  • Optimize production capabilities to meet cost, quality and schedule goals while driving innovation, waste reduction and competitiveness.
  • Provide technical governance, maintain ITAR compliance and oversee engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Address engineering-production interface issues, facilities upgrades and technology transfer programs.
