Position Overview
We are seeking an IT Asset and Access Manager to oversee the enhancement of our IT asset management, which encompasses applications, services, infrastructure, and data portfolios.

This newly established role at Pepperstone will focus on the creation and management of our IT Asset Management and IT Access Management functions. You will oversee the lifecycle of various application, service, and infrastructure components, collaborate with suppliers, and coordinate with different departments to ensure the asset database remains up-to-date and that the software aligns with business needs. Additionally, you will partner with our IT support and Security teams to develop, maintain, and integrate stringent access management practices across our global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing, maintaining, and embedding the asset management process throughout its entire lifecycle, including selection, procurement, onboarding, integration, support, updates, patching, archiving, and offboarding.
  • Facilitating tools for effective asset management and record-keeping, ensuring the database is accurate and consistently updated.
  • Creating and continuously refining a register of active assets, monitoring various parameters (including risk assessments based on recorded data).
  • Assisting in access management and the access review process, encompassing the complete management of User Access Provisioning, Access Control Policies, User Access Reviews, Access Requests and Approvals, IAM Systems management, and ensuring compliance while actively participating in security and incident management processes.
  • Overseeing billing and assisting in the payment process to guarantee seamless financial operations.
  • Collaborating with various business units to identify and procure optimal assets for operational needs.
  • Building effective working relationships with software vendors and internal departments (security, IT support, cloud engineering) to ensure high-quality and secure services and systems.
  • Identifying enhancements in business assets that will improve staff productivity, including any necessary business cases, trials, or assessments to validate potential value.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in asset and access management, business application support, or a related field.
  • Proficient in database management and data analytics.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks.
  • Understanding of IT budgeting and cost management.
  • Experience with the software licensing lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of IT access management protocols and associated security standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex topics to non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related discipline.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance regulations is advantageous.
  • Current and appropriate working rights in Australia.
