Job Overview

We're looking for skilled Character Technicians to create high-quality animation rigs for characters, creatures, props, and vehicles that bring animated stories to life.

Our team relies on thorough knowledge of character specializations to develop, test, and maintain character motion and deformation setups. Working closely with our Modeling team, Rigging Supervisors, and Animation Leads/Supervisors, our Character Technicians help develop new techniques to create better and more efficient rigs to streamline production.

We rely on experienced Character Technicians like you to anticipate and communicate pipeline issues and ensure adherence to the animation production pipeline protocols.

Your skills in scripting languages such as Python or Mel will be essential in implementing proprietary tools to aid in the creation of animation rigs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create complex animation rigs for characters, creatures, props, and vehicles
  • Develop, test, and maintain character motion and deformation setups
  • Collaborate with the Modeling team, Rigging Supervisors, and Animation Leads/Supervisors
