We're seeking a talented Crowd Animator to join our team

About the Role :

This is an exciting opportunity for a versatile and skilled Crowd Animator to work on our upcoming feature film project. You will be responsible for creating high-quality animation cycles, generating crowd simulations, and enhancing shots through background character animation.

Your primary focus will be on producing high-quality animations in line with the director's creative vision. You will collaborate closely with directors and animation leadership to ensure seamless execution of the project.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Create high-quality animation cycles for use in crowd simulations
  • Develop and animate background characters in standalone shots
  • Enhance shots through background character animation
  • Collaborate with directors and animation leadership to deliver high-quality animations
  • Assist in aesthetic or technical fixes for animation
  • Participate in animation reviews to develop an understanding of shots and their history
  • Support Animation Leadership to deliver high-quality shots

Requirements :

  • Strong understanding of animation principles and excellent sense of story, pacing, continuity, and appeal
  • Proven experience working in feature films, VFX, TV, or games
  • Proficiency in Maya or equivalent software preferred but not required
  • 1+ years of animation experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
