About the Role

The Machine Learning Analyst role at Seequent is focused on creating innovative solutions for downhole core image analysis.

As a Machine Learning Analyst, you will work closely with a research, prototyping, and production delivery team to develop and maintain machine learning models and data pipelines.

You will be responsible for producing novel and creative applications of machine learning and data analytics techniques, contributing to the maintenance and improvement of existing ML tools, and collaborating with data scientists and engineers within and outside the team.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Designing, building, and maintaining machine learning models and data pipelines.
  • Producing high-quality code and documentation for production-ready software development.
  • Collaborating with data scientists and engineers to design, build, and deploy new machine learning solutions.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments in machine learning and data analytics.
  • Providing technical expertise and support to other teams within the company.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Industry experience in relevant roles, including data scientist and software engineer.
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining machine learning models and data pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
