Older Persons Mental Health Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to provide expert guidance and support to carers and families navigating the complexities of older persons' mental health.
This role is part of a dedicated team within the Older Persons Mental Health Service, working together to enhance the care and support provided to older individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
As a Carer Consultant, you will play a vital role in:
- Providing expert advice and support to carers and families
- Advocating for the rights and needs of older adults and their carers
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop tailored care plans
- Facilitating education and training programs for healthcare professionals, carers and the community
- Promoting positive aging and mental well-being through community outreach initiatives
The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting the well-being of older adults and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality care and services.
