As a seasoned risk management professional, you will take charge of developing and implementing capital and provisioning models for our banking division in Sydney.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Craft and deploy advanced financial models to drive strategic decision-making across our product suite.
  • Regularly assess model performance and collaborate with the validation team during annual review processes.
  • Pursue expertise in capital, provisioning, and loss modeling, and their impact on business outcomes.

You will produce high-quality documentation for stakeholders, explaining complex commercial concepts like pricing and return metrics.

Requirements:
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuary, Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Demonstrated experience in credit risk modeling, including IRB and IFRS9 frameworks.
  • A strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and effective written and verbal communication.

Able to distil intricate ideas into clear, concise language.
