Financial Risk Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Financial Risk Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our risk management team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating financial risks for our clients.

  • Job Description: The Financial Risk Specialist will work closely with clients to understand their financial risk profiles and develop strategies to manage and mitigate these risks.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Assist in delivering financial risk engagements
    • Collaborate with a highly driven team on various projects focused on risks faced by banks and other financial services companies
    • Work effectively as a team member by sharing responsibilities, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress
  • Requirements:
    • Advanced quantitative and analytical skills, with a keen interest in financial risk and model implications
    • Confident and credible communication skills, both oral and written, with a collaborative problem-solving approach
    • Strong academic background including at least a Bachelor's degree (Actuarial, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering) and professional qualification (e.g., FIAA, AIAA, CFA)
    • Knowledge and experience in software development environments such as R, Python, SQL, VBA, SAS, or C++
    • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and good knowledge of other MS Office products, with an eagerness to acquire new skills and knowledge
