Fitters Required for Underground Mining Equipment Maintenance

C&H Recruitment is working with a specialised engineering company to repair and overhaul underground mining equipment in Mackay, QLD.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of underground associated mining gear.
- Strip, overhaul, rebuild, and assemble mining equipment.
- Interpret drawings and specifications to complete machinery assembly and rebuilds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repairing and maintaining various types of underground mining equipment.
- Overhauling and rebuilding machinery as required.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and meets safety regulations.
Requirements:
- A trade certificate in Mechanical Fitting or a related field.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical check.
- High-risk licenses, dogman, and gantry crane qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
