Business Planning and Forecasting Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team, who will play a key role in ensuring business plan integrity and accuracy is maintained.

The primary focus of this role is to interpret and validate the outputs of the planning team, reviewing business plans against performance targets to ensure alignment with agreed business strategies through the quarterly review process.

Working closely with the Planning Manager, you will optimise business outcomes and achieve financial KPIs of sales, margin and stockturn. You will also support the business through improved business insights and accurate reporting, presenting findings to key stakeholders and influencing decision-making.

As a Business Analyst, you will drive enhancements in business planning through root cause analyses and ensure continuous improvement throughout the planning function.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure business plan integrity and accuracy is maintained by interpreting and validating the outputs of the planning team.
  • Review business plans against performance targets to ensure alignment with agreed business strategies through the quarterly review process.

Requirements

  • Strong Excel knowledge and Power BI experience.
  • Experience within Retail/Wholesale/Manufacturing.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team environment.
  • Effective and concise communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills.
  • Proven ability to execute action plan deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Experience in dynamic problem-solving environments.
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree (Undergrad).
