Job Description

Amentum seeks a highly skilled Power Infrastructure Configuration Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven professional to lead the planning and coordination of programs and activities necessary to seamlessly alter the configuration of critical facilities infrastructure, systems, and equipment on the OASIS program.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, review, and update configuration and procedural documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Plan, coordinate, and administer tasks in support of critical infrastructure configuration change, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Prepare, develop, update, and manage documentation relevant to facility standard configuration, including technical specifications and standards.
  • Provide technical advice on proposed changes to facility infrastructure and systems, from general concepts through to detailed IFC designs.
  • Support stakeholder engagement, communication, and requirement definition to ensure clear understanding of project objectives and deliverables.
  • Develop and implement change management practices for critical infrastructure, minimizing risks and optimizing outcomes.
  • Compile and communicate technical information, recommendations, and advice relevant to facility infrastructure, systems, and equipment to stakeholders.
  • Provide technical recommendations, input, direction, and advice on facilities system, infrastructure, and equipment reliability, operation, maintenance, and life-cycle management.
  • Maintain site environmental health and safety requirements, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management, aligned with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Certificate IV or equivalent in a relevant discipline, such as engineering, architecture, or construction management.
  • Desirable: Undergraduate degree in a related field, PMP certification, or post-graduate qualifications.
  • Tickets and licenses: Driver's license, Australian White Card (desirable).
Experience
  • Minimum essential experience in power generation and distribution, load management, data center power systems, configuration management, building management and control systems, facilities operation and maintenance, HVAC, project management, and leadership and management.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands

The successful candidate will be required to lift up to 10 kg independently.

Security Clearance Requirement

A condition of employment is obtaining and retaining the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role. The employee may require a TSPV Department of Defense Security Clearance (Australian) or TS/SCI clearance.

Estimated Salary Range

$70,000 - $100,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
