Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of cost management practices and be able to provide expert advice and innovative solutions to clients.

  • The successful candidate will lead the cost management team, coordinating efforts to deliver comprehensive cost plans, estimates, and reports that align with overall project objectives and timelines.
  • They will develop detailed cost plans and budgets at all stages of the project, implementing effective cost control measures to track actual expenditures against budget.
  • The candidate will identify and assess cost risks, developing strategies to mitigate these risks and ensuring appropriate contingencies are in place.
  • They will collaborate with design teams to optimize cost efficiency and practicality, leading value engineering exercises to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality or performance.
Requirements
  • A recognised bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in cost management, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects.
  • Experience in MEP cost management is highly desirable.
  • Data centre, large mission critical projects or equivalent experience is a must.
  • Australian citizenship is desirable but not required.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation software such as CostX, or similar.
