Senior Treasury Accountant Role Summary">

As a Senior Treasury Accountant, you will be responsible for managing cash and liquidity reporting and forecasts, treasury operations, delivery of cash targets, and the intercompany reconciliation process across Australia and New Zealand. This role offers an excellent opportunity to advance your skills in a large corporate environment that strives for continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities:">

  • Report on cash flow with commentary, analysis, recommendations, and implementing relevant mitigation strategies.

  • Prepare monthly reports on liquidity forecast and reporting with variance analysis.

  • Review bank and cash reconciliations ensuring all reconciling items are cleared.

  • Determine daily cash requirements and arrange appropriate funding.

  • Prepare quarterly rolling forecast cash flows and monitor landings accordingly.

  • Manage the intercompany reconciliation process ensuring agreement on intercompany transactions and balances.

  • Manage and mentor Treasury Accountants.


Requirements:">

For this role, we seek individuals with tertiary qualifications in accounting/finance or a related discipline, preferably with membership of an internationally recognized accounting body. Proven experience in cash flow calculations and management is essential, along with advanced spreadsheeting skills using Excel and good attention to detail. Additionally, previous mentoring/managerial experience would be advantageous.
