Job Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Treasury Accountant to join our team.
- The successful candidate will have a strong background in cash flow management and treasury operations.
About the Role
- This is a senior-level position that requires exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You will be responsible for managing cash and liquidity reporting, forecasting, and reconciliations.
- Additionally, you will report on cash flows with commentary and analysis.
- Another key aspect of this role is preparing monthly reports on liquidity forecasts and variance analysis.
- You will also review bank and cash reconciliations to ensure all items are cleared.
- Daily cash requirements will need to be determined and appropriate funding arranged.
- A quarterly rolling forecast of cash flows will be prepared and monitored accordingly.
- You will manage the intercompany reconciliation process to ensure agreement on transactions and balances.
Required Skills and Experience
- A tertiary qualification in accounting or a related field.
- Proven experience in cash flow calculations and management.
- Advanced spreadsheeting skills using Excel.
- Good attention to detail with advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Previous mentoring or managing experience is advantageous.
- A passion for digital ways of working and improving processes continuously.
