Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Farm Administration Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth administration of our farm operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate records of all farm-related activities and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Support the onboarding process for casual staff and contractors, including inductions and training
  • Coordinate the engagement and management of external contractors for repair and maintenance works
  • Process invoices and manage accounts payable in a timely manner
  • Enter data into farm management and finance systems accurately and efficiently
  • Arrange training and maintain training records and documentation
  • Perform general administrative duties, including updating and printing induction books
  • Assist with shifting or operating machinery, if required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential; willingness to learn and take on new challenges is key
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) are necessary
  • Ability to easily pick up new systems and processes
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent team player with a positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively
  • High level of self-motivation and initiative
  • Full Australian Working Rights are essential
