Job Title: Site Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the project plan, recording progress against the program, resolving engineering issues, managing subcontractors, and ensuring technical matters with the project are compliant.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to a safe work culture and ensure works are delivered to legislative and project standards
  • Review and understand construction drawings, specifications and method statements
  • Liaise, communicate and plan with the foreman, and Subcontractors on a daily basis to achieve target outcomes
  • Ensure project delivery is compliant with project standards
  • Ensure on site works are delivered to quality standards and complete all relevant documentation
  • Participate in and maintain cost management of daily activities
  • Ensure allocated work packages and resources are managed to ensure costs are within or below budget, and contribute to the achievement of project targets

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Excellent subcontractor management
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to develop and maintain good working relationships internally and externally
