">Two major infrastructure companies have been selected to deliver the 130km western section of a high voltage electricity transmission project.

">This project will connect Wagga Wagga, Maragle and Bannaby in regional NSW, significantly increasing the capacity of the electricity network in Australia's eastern states.

">The project involves about 365kms of proposed new transmission lines and various upgraded infrastructure.

">Key Responsibilities

  • Trend and forecast costs on major infrastructure projects
  • Establish and monitor baseline budgets
  • Prepare regular end of month cost reports
  • Maintain risk registers including change impacts
  • Monitor and report on actuals vs budget
  • Liaise with stakeholders for progress claims

">Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, commercial, engineering, finance or related fields preferred
  • Minimum 5 years experience on large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Demonstrated proficiency in cost management tools (excel, SAP, Power Bi, SharePoint, JDE)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Strong conflict resolution skills, ability to work independently in fast-paced construction environment
