We are seeking an ambitious and driven Estimating Manager to join our dynamic team at Clarendon Homes, Loganholme. As an Estimating Manager, you will lead a team of skilled estimators, overseeing the accurate and efficient estimation of project costs and ensuring that our proposals align with our clients' needs and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of estimators, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Manage team workflow, liaising with other department managers over workflow.
- Perform ETS analysis and reporting, contract forecasting, contract, and FTC margin analysis.
- Assist in the implementation of new suppliers and subcontractors with the Procurement Team.
- Assist in system, process, VPB, and database maintenance.
- Problem-solve with other department managers on problems.
- Report on department performance in management meetings.
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Work on new projects specific to the Domaine business.
- A driven individual with leadership qualities and the desire to manage a team.
- Relevant qualifications in Residential Building or Diploma in Building studies or Diploma in Estimating/Quantity Surveying (desired).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software Framework, PEWin, or similar software.
