About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Principal to join our team at Windaroo State School. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in improving educational outcomes for our students, developing the quality of teaching and learning, and nurturing positive relationships between students, teachers, the community, and stakeholders.

The Deputy Principal will report directly to the school Principal and be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of school policies and procedures. You will also provide guidance and support to teachers and staff to enhance their professional development and contribute to the overall success of the school.

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in education, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead and motivate others. Key Responsibilities
  • Improve educational outcomes for students through effective teaching and learning strategies
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance student achievement and well-being
  • Lead and manage teams to achieve school goals and objectives
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to teachers to enhance their professional practice
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Deputy Principal or similar role in an educational setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and the community
  • Strong leadership and management skills
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $157,034 - $159,810 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive a range of benefits, including:
