Job Description">

The role of a Senior Bookkeeper involves working with a team of bookkeepers to manage client portfolios, assist junior team members, and undertake full function bookkeeping duties. This includes processing payroll, managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements, and onboarding new clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking full function bookkeeping duties for clients
  • Processing of payroll for clients
  • Managing the AP and AR process for clients
  • Preparation and lodgment of BAS
  • Assisting client with queries related to their bookkeeping
  • Onboarding of new clients
  • Assist junior bookkeepers when required
  • Manage workflow and identify potential for improvements
Required Skills & Qualifications">

Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience working in a similar role. A strong knowledge of bookkeeping processes is essential, as well as holding a Cert IV in Bookkeeping or equivalent. Additionally, candidates should have experience using cloud-based software, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to assist junior team members.
