The Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Functions and Events Manager to join our team at Tasmania. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing a wide range of events, from corporate functions to social gatherings and weddings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Coordination: Meet with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and work closely with our events team to create customized event plans that exceed their expectations.
  • Logistics Management: Oversee the coordination of event logistics, including catering, audio-visual equipment, and decorations, to ensure seamless execution.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate our events team to deliver exceptional service and ensure that all events are executed to the highest standard.
  • Client Relations: Build strong relationships with our clients and ensure that their needs are met throughout the event planning process.
  • Financial Management: Oversee event budgets and ensure that all financial aspects of events are managed efficiently and effectively.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with our marketing team to promote events and special offers through various channels.
