We are seeking a skilled Project Scheduler to join our team at Whizdom Recruitment in Canberra. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for developing and managing integrated schedules that map and track all accountable activity across projects and programs.

Your primary goal will be to ensure target milestones are realistic, achievable, and on track by capturing and monitoring the relationship between dependencies. You will also provide administrative and technical support for project scheduling activities, undertake project resource management tasks, and work under the guidance of senior staff.

Key duties may include:

  • Supporting the development of integrated schedules for small-scale projects and programs
  • Liaising with stakeholders across work streams to inform design, development, and implementation of schedules
  • Supporting relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Assisting with routine reporting cycles and updating schedules to ensure accurate sequencing, alignment of dependencies, and progress against deliverables and milestones
  • Identifying and resolving scheduling issues to support delivery of outcomes
  • Contributing to the effectiveness of streamlined team processes and continuous improvement
  • Performing research and analysis on project schedules and contributing to report preparation
  • Providing support and scheduling knowledge to stakeholders

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience managing scheduling activities across large-scale projects and programs. They should be able to demonstrate experience capturing and monitoring dependencies, ensuring target milestones are realistic, achievable, and on track.

We offer an estimated salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. The initial contract duration is 12 months with two 12-month extension options. This role requires candidates to work from our Canberra office a minimum of 3 days per week.
