In this role as a Data Platform Engineer - Analytics Specialist, you'll be an integral part of our team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our data platform. This includes all related Business Intelligence solutions, such as Power BI and Azure Synaps.

**Job Description**

You'll work closely with executives and managers to gather input on report content and structure, ensuring that key insights are delivered effectively. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing data pipelines with ETL/ELT strategies to ingest and curate data from various sources.
  • Maintaining data ingestion and analytical dataset refresh processes to ensure high-quality and up-to-date data assets.
  • Delivering a suite of required reports and dashboards within defined timeframes.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiencies within the Data & Reporting Team.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum three years of experience in data-related roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Cloud Data and Reporting development toolsets, including Power BI, Azure DevOps, and Azure Synaps.
  • Knowledge of programming languages like Python and PowerShell.
  • Strong SQL skills to implement data transformation and optimise query performance.

**Estimated Salary Range:** $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with skills and experience.

This is a full-time, ongoing position based at our Head Office in Melrose Park, SA. You'll enjoy a great work-life balance with a 9-day fortnight and a dedicated day off every second week. Plus, you'll receive the remuneration of a full-time employee and the ability to salary sacrifice.
