Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned tournament operations expert to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of our major event. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in senior operations roles within sporting events.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage venues, workforce, and volunteers to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Coordinate netball-specific logistics, match scheduling, integrity frameworks, and operational policy delivery.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, including national and international governing bodies, venue owners, emergency services, government agencies, and commercial partners.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including paid staff, contractors, and volunteer programs.
  • Oversight of legislative and regulatory requirements, WHS, integrity, safeguarding, child protection, and emergency response.
  • Financial management, procurement processes, and value-for-money assessments.

The successful candidate will be an inspirational leader who can mobilize diverse teams, drive accountability, and embed a high-performance culture under pressure. They must have advanced skills in milestone tracking, critical path management, resource planning, and interdependency mapping across functions.
