Role Summary

This is a key opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a lasting impact on the environment by developing and implementing effective programs that preserve and protect local ecosystems.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Science, Ecology, Environmental Management or Conservation and Ecosystem Management, and experience in project management designing and delivering programs with environmental and community outcomes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Co-design and implement sustainability initiatives in partnership with stakeholders and Traditional Owners
  • Integrate First Nations knowledge and practices to support land and waterway health and conservation
  • Foster mutual learning across communities and drive environmental sustainability within the Council's policy framework
