About the Role:- Maintaining accurate records of shipments and inventory is crucial for efficient logistics operations, enabling us to make informed decisions about stock levels and delivery schedules.
- Organising transportation routes requires strong planning skills, ensuring timely delivery of products and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Preparing shipping documents, bills of lading, and invoices demands attention to detail and organisational abilities, minimising errors and streamlining our processes.
- Working with vendors and logistics providers involves negotiation and problem-solving skills, securing cost-effective transportation solutions for our business.
- Tracking and monitoring shipments, troubleshooting and resolving any issues requires effective communication and analytical thinking, ensuring seamless delivery of our products.
- Lifting and moving inventory, conducting regular stocktakes necessitates physical stamina and attention to detail, guaranteeing accuracy in our inventory management.
- Organising and maintaining the warehouse layout to optimise space and efficiency is essential for smooth warehouse operations, allowing us to maximise storage capacity and reduce waste.
- Ensuring the warehouse is clean, organised, and compliant with safety regulations involves teamwork and accountability, creating a safe working environment for all employees.
- Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming goods, and preparing orders for shipment requires strong organisational and time management skills, meeting customer expectations and driving business growth.
- We are looking for candidates who have strong organisational abilities, attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage logistics and warehouse activities efficiently, demonstrating a proactive approach to work.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and the ability to lift and move inventory are also required, showcasing your technical expertise and physical capabilities.
